Walking 500 km to raise $2,000 for Charity

After my first Camino in 2014 of 735 km, I’ve trekked many spiritual journeys in Portugal, France, Norway, Himalayas, Japan and Israel.
I’m returning to the Camino de Santiago on 23rd March to commence walking 500 km for Orange Sky Charity and also to rediscover the spiritual feeling of the inner journey. This summer Brisbane and surrounding regions experienced a catastrophe of unusual wet weather with over 20,000 homes flooded and 2,000 homeless people without shelter. 
I met team members of Orange Sky at the Ipswich Flood Relief Centre and I immediately knew that this was the charity that I wanted to raise funds for on my solo trek of 500km.
At 71 years I’ll be carrying only a backpack, staying  in hostels along the famous Camino. All donated monies go direct to OS as I’m funding my own trip.
To support this fundraising trek, I’m asking 200 people to donate $10 each in raising my target of $2,000
Each day over the 21 days I’ll be posting a photo and a small description of the journey mentioning what inspired me on that day.
I’m commencing in the lively city of Pamplona and heading  west and unsure where I will end up. The Camino has many paths in reaching the final resting place of St James in Santiago.
