Empower Packs Volunteer

Monday 14th Jul
I had the pleasure of volunteering with Orange Sky last year. Not only do they offer a free laundry service to our 'friends' in the community, but they also offer an Empower Pack service. This means I got to go out into the community and have conversations with 'friends' having a hard time and was able to see what essentials they need from a local chemist and go and purchase on their behalf. It was an extremely uplifting and humbling experience but I felt honoured to play a small positive part in our 'friends' day and felt proud to work for an organisation that supports such an incredible charity - Thanks BOQ.
